Bob brings a diverse background to the firm. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Bob spent 10 years developing software in the financial industry. Since then, Bob’s legal career has focused largely on insurance bad faith and medical-related cases, including licensure under the federal National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. Bob is one of the few South Dakota lawyers to have obtained successful jury verdicts for both medical malpractice and medical privacy cases. Bob also obtained what is believed to be the largest contempt-related award in South Dakota history, over $1.8 million.
